I took my friend home from this Hospital on Sat 26th July.He had been on H4 ward for four days. Firstly he got no rest because of the constant noise from staff at the desk and the continuing ringing of the phone which nobody answered.Anytime you asked about something you were met with " oh i don't know i'llhave to ask someone I'll get someone to speak to you".Then you were left wailting until you had to hunt them down. They constantly gave wrong information which had to be double checked. He never had a wash for four days and medication was left lying on his table having not been taken. He missed his meal on occasions due to treatment and when asked for food was told that he could have a cup of soup. Then to top it all they threw his dentures away without even an apology or any effort to replace them. How does an undernourished person eat then with no teeth? So all in all it was a great stay at NMGH. I wouldn’t send a dog there!
"neglect of patient."
