This is a review for the care of our dad who had hodgkin's lymphoma. He stayed on ward 12 for 8 weeks. We found his care to be very good. He was always comfortable and well looked after. Thank you to the doctor for his kind honesty about dad's prognosis and for making a quick decision to transfer him to the Sheldon unit for palliative care which is what he needed given there was no cure for dad. Thank you to all the nurses and junior doctors for looking after dad. Thank you to the ward clerk for booking transport for dad and being a friendly face or voice on the phone. Also the ward was always impeccably clean so thank you to domestic staff. He is now still at the sheldon and getting weaker by the day. He probably hasnt much longer left but he is well looked after there. We will always cherish how ward 12 helped us through this sad time. Thank you.
