On Sunday 13.07.14 I was rushed to hospital seriously ill with double pneumonia and a collapsed lung. My wife was told to prepare for the worst. Dozens of the magnificent, caring, extraordinary staff laboured one to one for three days to stabilise me and save my life So many people were involved I don't know how to thank them all. I was told by a member of staff that I was lucky to be in the best hospital in Europe and I firmly believe this to be true. The entire operation was both faultless and astonishing and have not the vocabulary to put my gratitude into words.
