"Every Breath that is Taken ?"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

I had been waiting over 9 months - with GP intervention ignored, then told to come a week earlier .On Lung Function had stopped breathing 11x never told not even in discharge letter . As have severe back pain & spasticity not all time could relate to oxygen pumping when went to A&E they refused to address back pain & spascity [ temporary bouts] on grounds of weight when probably due to poor oxygen pumping- cardiac arrest 8 yrs ago & lymphoedema just diagnosed. There is somone who manages Complaints /PALs Dept who causes more problems than resolves knowing she employs persons who cannot record & resolve fairly honestly wanting to follow procedures that are so bad. So issues wanted to raise just left in limbo. The staff generally are excellent but a few gang up in a particularly nasty fashion with Car parking attendants bullying . What is worse when given over to Chairmans Office what appeared to have been an ethical response from a lady, appeared to be punishment removing the only appt ever had pretending Doctor not there then discharging when never saw on arrival... Is this what I get instead of regular heart appts transferred because moved.

Hello there, Thank you for getting in touch with us to share this feedback. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing. It does sounds as though you're already in touch with the PALS and Complaints department so we would advise you to continue to pursue your concerns with this team as they are best placed to offer the right support. We will pass on your comments to the team so they know you have been in touch and will also share this with the respiratory team. Best wishes The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
