"Our mother was treated with respect and dignity"

About: Victoria Hospital / General Medicine

(as a relative),

Our mother was in the Victoria in June of this year and as a result of her illness she passed away.

The care and treatment she received from the doctors, nursing and support staff of Ward 13 was excellent. She was treated with respect and dignity that she deserved in her last few days. Not only did the staff care for her but the also gave support and comfort during this painful time.

Everyone that we met in Ward 13 showed true professionalism and compassion. I cannot praise them too highly.

Dear AJS, This is a familiar story for me so I am guessing (I hope correctly) that you are the same person who also recently wrote in to us.

I wanted you to know that I took your letter up to ward 13 last week and shared it with the senior charge nurse. She remembered your mother and your family and she was really delighted that you had taken the time to send in a letter. She was very busy but I know this made her day and I wanted to tell you.

Thanks again.

Heather
