"Outstanding care - Guy's almost make it worth..."

This was my first visit to Guy's Hospital and I have rarely been more impressed. I had been referred to the Dermatology department for a mole on my face that had been changing. From the moment I arrived the whole hospital was notable for its cleanliness and pleasant ambience. It was easy to find my way around with everything well signposted. The receptionist was lovely when I arrived at Dermatology. I was given an information sheet to read which explained what would happen - very clear and well written. I was seen on time and the doctor was friendly and skilled. I felt listened to and like I played a full part in the decision-making process. We decided to do the biopsy straight away. The nursing staff were very skilled, capable and sympathetic - special mention to a particular member of staff who was just lovely. Guy's represents the NHS at its very best. Well done!
