"Holiday Accident"

I was brought into the A&E department on the evening of July 7th with a broken wrist and attended the fracture clinic the following morning. I saw one of the consultants who explained the available options to me very clearly and who arranged for me to have day surgery that same afternoon. I was very impressed by the quality of my care. All the staff involved in my care showed an extremely high level of expertise and kindness. The doctor who I have since seen at York hospital said he would have been proud to have got the bones so well aligned! Many thanks to all.

Dear Angela, What a lousy thing to happen during your holiday to the North East - I'm sorry that you needed to spend any time in our hospitals rather than visiting the beautiful beaches of Northumberland.
