"As far as hospitals go this is one of the best"

Attended ED on a Thursday afternoon with acute abdominal pain was seen in less than 10 mins and sent straight through to the back. The nursing staff were lovely really friendly and helpful an looked after me with the upmost respect. They introduced themselfs and gained consent before taking any bloods or any form of intervention. They were very reassuring and I was kept informed checked regularly and discharged within 3 hours. Very through with testing had bloods X-rays saw 2 doctors and consultant even a referral to a specialist in my local area. (I live in bournemouth but was visiting Dorchester) The team worked well communicating effectively and doing regular catch up and handovers. Each bay had a dedicated nurse and the staffing seemed brilliant. Only trouble was my broken bed but they soon swapped it for a new one. The X-ray team in the Ed were brilliant too. Can't fault my care at all.
