I think it is a fact of live that you can't always believe what you read in the papers and I think our experience of maternity at Wrexham would be proof of that. From the moment my wife was admitted to be induced the staff were fantastic they all were caring very compassionate and passionate about what they do. We were going to the isis birthing centre but ended up on the labour ward. The midwives were great really lovely ladies. Communicated clearly, brought us options with advice rather than making decisions for us. The doctors were also brilliant and very compassionate. The care we received was fantastic for mother and baby. On the post labour ward again midwives brilliant and lovely. So overall a great experience I can't really fault it to be honest in any way. I saw a group of midwives and doctors who are passionate, really genuinely care for their patients. They communicate clearly and are very attentive. The hospital was clean and everything we asked for was there when we needed it. We will definitely visit Wrexham again at some point! Ps The miracle to me is that the team at wrexham can still be so positive considering what has been written in the papers!
"Top class care from a team who really care"
