After being in hopsital several times in the past year in coronary care and chest pain assessment i have to say the staff are amazing nothing too much trouble and the cleanliness is top notch the cleaners are amazing the only downside to this gospital is pharmacy no matter when you are being discharges the wait for medication is agonising 5 hours is the norm this should be addressed as soon as possible as this does put a dampner on peoples experience

Thank you for your comments which will be shared with the Coronary Care/Chest Pain Assessment Units. We are sorry you had a long wait for your discharge medication and whilst there can sometimes be a delay, we acknowledge that 5 hours is excessive and we will be picking it up with the Pharmacy Team. On occasions, if there are genuine reasons for a delay in providing a patient's discharge medication, we would expect the time period to be communicated to the patient so they are kept informed and do not feel forgotten. Please accept our apologies that this was not done on this occasion.
