"appalling telephony"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

I have been trying to contact the hospital switchboard on their published number. Having spent 20 minutes listening to the phone ringing out, my call was disconnected. I rang straight back which I can only presume irritated someone into answering my call. They attempted to transfer my call to admissions and guess what....? No answer despite 3 attempts. I have now been given the direct number for admissions. No one is answering this line and it seems that when they get tired of listening to the phone ringing they simply hang up. This is appaling service.

So sorry to hear about your experiences. I am the admissions manager, susan.tompkins@nhs.net and take this matter very seriously. If you are able to advise which telephone number you were ringing or wish to provide any further feedback please email me.
