"visit to pembury ane department"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

Went to pembury ane department as had very severe pains in lower black and stomach.....I would just to say that the care I received was out standing! I was seen promptly only waited for 20mins to be seen by triage where I was taken to a cubicle. The nurses were very polite caring and patient. I have very difficult veins and explained this to them, where they got a doctor promptly to take bloods.......this doctor was excellent.....he said he couldn't find a suitable Vien so got an ultra sound to pin point a vein......he found a vein successfully and managed to get bloods and a line in successfully. He explained everything to me in great detail which I understood and was happy with......he explained he wanted to put the anti boioctics in first and after that finished straight away got some pain relief. I was later discharged and advised to rest and drink plenty of fluids. He said to give it a few more days and if no improvement to return. I was also given more anti boioctics to take home with me. A big thank you to all the staff that delt with me.:-)
