"Cataract Operation on elderly father"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

On 22 July 2014 my 94 year old father had a cataract operation. Father has difficulty walking and needed a GA for the operation because of a tremor. Throughout the day all the staff were really wonderful and I think he got the best possible care. This is the National Health at its best. Thank you everyone.

Hi there, Thank you very much for sharing this feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that your father's operation was a success and that you are so pleased with the care he received. We will pass your comments onto the ophthalmology staff involved in his treatment. Best wishes The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
