"infection control and confusion over meals."

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

infection routines are very safe except for the presence of flies entering through open windows and settling on open wounds. Suggest fly screens on windows as I know that fresh air is important. Meals are good but confusion over needs of patient. New instructions not taken into account. eg. pureed meal given when normal diet had been resumed for several days. Otherwise care excellent.

Dear Ms Hassan, thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. We have passed your suggestion regarding fly screens on to our Estates and Facilities team for their consideration. We were pleased to read that the quality of food was good, but appreciate your feedback regarding the need to ensure dietary requirements are effectively communicated. We were delighted to note that staff offered excellent care and have passed this on to the team. Kind regards, The PALS Team.
