"Getting better after my stroke"

About: Specialist Therapy Services / Community Stroke Team – South Notts

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Margaret, Clare, Sue and Bev

Great service. It don't matter who was here, they've all been very good.

It's been good for me because I've come to know them - I'm not very good with strangers.

I couldn't say much at all at the start, I've learned a lot. I didn't think I'd be able to speak really and I didn't think I'd walk on my own.

Instead of four carers I've got two and really they only see to my tablets.

Still got to carry on and get better.

Dear Charlie72

thank you for taking the time to tell your story.

I am pleased that you have felt that you have been able to get to know the team and have been pleased with the service you have received. It is good to know that that your speech and mobility have improved and you have been able to reduce your carer visits.

I will make sure that Margaret, Sue, Clare and Bev are made aware of your comments. It is important that staff know they have made a difference.

Thank you once again for your story. The team do value feedback
