From the NHS 111 service through the Salisbury District Hospital paramedics and the A&E department to those involved in cardiac care, I have only praise. I was looked after superbly by a dedicated team of professionals who did their job on their long shifts with dignity, pride and delicate, gentle care. Many thanks to all. The whole team still hovers around and about, making sure I - and you - get the best possible care, the calm reassurance, the firm instruction, the professional touch in each and every area. To those who staff the phones on 111; to those who compose the website; to the triage nurse; to those who clean beneath our beds, hand out medication, stick us with necessary medication, come round with the trolley of papers and sweets; to the people who maintain the air conditioning, the beds and the vital machines; to the chefs and caterers; to the skilled telephonists and those who provide free TV between 8 and 12 noon; to the indefatigable nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, specialists and consultants - to one and all, heartfelt (literally!) thanks. I hope not to see you again, a least in the same circumstances, but if I do, I know I'll be in excellent hands. Thank you all!
"Great from start to finish"
