Following my earlier review, I decide to call the appointments line who confirmed there's a 20 week wait for this dept which is over the NHS maximum 18 weeks? I asked why they waited 12 weeks to send me a letter stating they'd received a request for an appt for me, they replied 'not sure why it took that long'! It appears it doesn't matter about symptoms worsening, just sit and wait!
