"Matt cut head"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

My 3 year old split his head near his eye running in to a chair and I thought it needed to be looked at as it kept bleeding and from the moment we arrived at reception they made us feel very welcome. They put my son at ease and talked to him as well as me. Matt had a couple of steri-strips applied and the nurse talked to him while she fixed him. The nurse even gave his toy a sticker and he left with a thank you. The reception lady was very nice. When you are 3 being taken anywhere where they might hurt you is a stress but they were so nice my son said to his brother they were nice people and they were. A big thank you.

Hello Many thanks for taking the time to tell us about your recent visit to the Minor Injury Unit at Gravesham Community Hospital with your son. We're pleased you both found the staff there friendly and efficient and that your son got the treatment and reassurance he needed. We will ensure your kind comments are passed onto the reception staff and the nurses. We hope Matt's eye is much better now.
