"Paramedics came to my rescue"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I had a car accident recently, Mark and Dylan came to my rescue. As there were a number of people around I think someone must have called for an ambulance – Mark and Dylan were the crew who attended to me.

I think they arrived in under 10 minutes – they got me out of my car and carried out a number of checks, ECG, blood test etc probably spending around 45 minutes doing this. I was then taken to Taunton Hospital where much the same checks were carried out again and then discharged.

The two men from the ambulance were very good.

Dear Node18

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope you have recovered from your accident.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I would like to pass your kind comments onto Mark and Dylan. Would you be able to contact me, laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk or call 01392 453831, at your convenience, with the date and location that the ambulance attended? This would allow me to ensure they are recognised for the care they gave you.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards

Laura
