"Motivation, Weight Loss and Self Esteem"

Attending my first appointment with healthy routes was not as bad as I imagined it would be. Lee at the Park Health Centre on Holderness Road really put me at ease. I have Rheumatology arthritis and also osteoarthritis, so found myself gaining the pounds at a great rate due to medication and limited activity. I began to feel pretty down with myself, in fact totally losing self esteem. But I feel all that has changed, through giving that listening ear and all the positive encouragement and feedback from Lee (So well done Lee).

I have not lost a great deal of weight but what I have lost I have managed to keep off, again with encouragement. I have also started going swimming (only once a week) but I hope to increase this. I have always valued the time given to me at each appointment and never felt I was racing against the clock. But most importantly was always listened too. I was just sad it had to come to an end.

So Thank You once again Lee, you are an inspiration and hopefully much appreciated, valued member of staff in your profession.
