This is my first time ever in hospital, I was even born at home so that is my first hospital experience in 60 years! I have been very impressed with everything, right from the ambulance in to hospital, everything has been excellent.
The staff on this ward have been friendly and efficient, whilst also humane and able to joke with me. I would highly recommend this ward.
The only thing I would say is it would be nice to have a TV or some form of entertainment, if you are in here for a while you may begin to wonder what you are going to do! The food is OK but I am sticking with sandwiches!
Doctors and nurses have been very forthcoming and they don't hide anything but the doctors have control of my care- they are professionals and make the decisions. This is fine with me, I am happy to let the professionals make the decisions. They do listen to me but I leave the decisions to them.
