"Very saddened about my daughters care"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

My daughter is currently a patient on ward 4 her aftercare has been terrible. She and her partner have been kept in the dark, yesterday she was not medically reviews until after 7pm when I made a fuss to the staff on duty. The staff are overworked, stretched too far, medical staff are absent She went most of the day without pain relief as the staff were rushed off their feet, my grandsons security tag had come away and the staff took over two hrs to re place it, again as there was one midwife covering too many service users I am so disappointed in the care and will be making a formal complaint
