"Exceptional emergency dental care"

About: NHS Lothian

(as the patient),

I wasn't registered to a dentist in Edinburgh.

Overnight, two wisdom teeth caused huge swelling and inflamation in my mouth and I needed to be seen immediately.

I attended Chalmers Dental Centre clinic in Edinburgh at 9am on Friday 11th July 2014.

The service and treatment I received from everyone there was exceptional - caring, prompt, informative, accessible, first class.

The triage nurse and dentist and dental assistant were friendly, professional and kept me calm. I had one tooth out there and then and antibiotics given to reduce the swelling on the other.

From start to finish, this took one hour and cost £12. 60.

I could not have asked for better service and really felt well looked after.

A great NHS experience - thank you to all, you're doing a great job.
