On arrival at the hospital I was greeted by a very friendly member of the reception staff & shown to my room where I was admitted by Healthcare who was very friendly and ran through my admission paperwork very thoroughly. I was seen by the consultant who informed me of the order of list for theatre so I was aware that I would have to wait for a couple of hours until my operation. The Staff Nurse was very friendly, professional & made me feel at ease about my operation, she was happy to discuss any issues that I had. A Student Nurse was also very friendly and was confident in the tasks she carried out. I was seen by the Physio who ran through my exercises with me before I was allowed home. I feel that I was treated with care & respect from every member of staff at Duchy Hospital and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definately reccommend Duchy Hospital to my family & friends.
