I stayed in critical care and 9b north respiratory care ward. Both wards were excellent and the staff were amazing in looking after me. I was upset at times and treated with care and compassion. The dietician was extremely helpful and I learnt a lot from her. I wish thw physios had seen me quicker as it took a week of asking to see them. The only criticism of my stay was that I was at the Ladies end of the ward and not one of the 3 toilets had a clinical waste bin in, just a black sack bin. As I have an ileostomy I require a clinical waste bin when I change my bag & obviously ladies require these bins for tena pants etc. Even the housekeepers were lovely and the cleaner always had a smile which cheered me up. I would score both wards and resus too 100 per cent and would like my thanks passed to all the people responsible for my care.
