I had to go to the primary care section of the dental hospital for some emergency dental treatment as my own dental practice did not have any appointments and I was in a lot of pain. I explained to the reception staff that I did have my own dental practice but I could not get an appointment there quick enough. They were very understanding and did their best to make me feel comfortable and at ease although they did not know if I would be treated. All the nurses I was in contact with were extremely friendly and made me feel calm. Each one of them introducing themselves by name and asking me how I am feeling. The dentist was extremely sympathetic to the pain I was in and did his utmost to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. He was very gentle when it came to examining me and explained my x rays and any problems I had and any treatment I would need very clearly and did not make me feel nervous at any point. Although I am nervous of the dentist, all staff made me feel welcome and at ease. They are all doing a fantastic job and deserve some recognition of their efforts. I was fully expecting them not to be able to help me as I do have my own dental practice but I was more than pleasantly surprised by the service I received. Thank you very much everyone.
