I suffered a suspected mini stroke. I was seen by my GP the following morning and received a call from the stroke unit later that day. I was offered an appointment the following morning, when I was given a thorough examination, a CT scan and an ECG. Further tests will follow. I was very impressed by the urgency with which I was seen and the thoroughness of the doctor in assessing my condition.
