"Upper impacted Wisdom Tooth removal"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

I had my upper impacted wisdom tooth removed under GA 17th July 2014 and from the nurses to the surgeons they were all very caring and kind. If you are nervous just let the nurses know and they will help you. The build up is way worse than the actual procedure. I was in a bit of pain but not excruciating pain like I thought. The day after it is very sore but as long as I keep washing my mouth out with salty water and keep on top of ibuprofen i believe I will be fine. A massive thank you to all the nurses who in my opinion deserve a lot more respect that they get as they do try their best with the little resources they are given and to the Surgeons. :-)

Isn't it often the way that the anticipation is worse than the event? So pleased to hear that this was true in your case. Thank you for your kind comments. Perhaps you would consider showing your support for the Royal Bolton Hospital by taking part in the Healthier Together consultation on reconfiguration of hospital services in Greater Manchester. We want to keep our emergency and high risk surgery. To support this please choose the options in this order 5.3, 5.4 4.1.
