We came to the maternity department on Monday to have our second child. From the first person we met (the friendly security guard) and the extremely polite lady on the reception (just like the lady on OBEM) the staff as always were brilliant. Our midwife was kind and caring at the right times and assertive when necessary. She was complimented brilliantly by the Senior Midwife who was so reassuring at just the right times. This was our second birth at the Hospital and our treatment was again excellent. We were kept informed at all stages of the process and we felt listened to. Well done and thanks to our midwifes. You were amazing. And from our previous experiences we know you are part of an amazing team.

Congratulations, Jim, on the birth of your baby! Thank you so much for thinking of posting feedback at what must be a very busy time for you both. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated and caring team in our midwifery unit and it is great to receive such positive comments from someone who has used the service more than once. It is so nice to hear our security guards being complimented as they do a very important job keeping mums and babies safe and secure. We are delighted to pass your comments onto the maternity matron and lead midwife who will ensure the rest of the team are able to see them.
