"Garston Walk in Centre waiting room"

About: Garston Walk in Centre

(as the patient),

I went for a blood test at the Centre. On arrival I pulled a ticket from the dispenser and went to the reception where I was directed to a waiting area. I was so shocked that the floor was painted blood red. I am not normally affected or have concerns about needles or giving blood but after sitting and waiting in that area I felt sick and anxious in terms of was about to happen to me.

Thank you for raising this issue with us and I'm sorry the environment made you feel sick and anxious. Unfortunately as the building is not owned by LCH we cannot change the flooring. We have raised it with the owners, NHS Property Services and will use your comments in future planning and design of the buildings where we deliver services.
