I had never been to Lewes Victoria Hospital before, and also had not had an operation before. I was very nervous and understandably fearful about what was about to happen. The staff on the Day Surgery Unit at the hospital were fantastic, they immediately made me feel at ease, confident in having the procedure. Im not sure if im allowed to name names on here, but I will be writing a letter to the hospital expressing how overwhelmed I am at the care and support I received from all staff members. I was in for post op observation for a lot longer than I should have been because of a bad reaction to the general anesthetic, and the whole time I felt well looked after, cared for, and most importantly cared about. At no point did I feel that the staff were trying to rush me to get out, or getting impatient because I didn't seem to be recovering well, or that I was asking too much. I could not have asked for better help, care and support from the team on Robinson Ward, and I am truly grateful for everything they did. I hope this gets passed along and their achievement and faultless care recognised. Thank you
"Utterly fantastic"
