"5 hour wait!"

Turned up just after 6pm my 13 year old son was not seen until 11:15pm! People were leaving after triage after being told the current wait was 6 hours plus. Lots of small children waiting even when we left dept at 00:30! Not good enough! had we been told a wait of this length was possible we would have considered other possibilities. There is no update of current waiting time in this A&E and 6 hours to wait for a child is not acceptable.
