"Change of appointment for an Ultrasound Scan"

(as the patient),

I received an appointment on a Saturday for an Ultrasound scan at Monklands Hospital 3 days later on the Monday - unfortunately I was unable to attend the appointment as I had a very important meeting with my new employer who had travelled up from London. I called to re-arrange my appointment and I found Suzanne Bradley in the Radiology department at Monklands to be very pleasant, helpful and understanding - I explained that I am in pain daily and would appreciate if she could manage to rearrange my appointment for another day and she said that she would see what she could do and put me on the cancellation list and get back to me which she duly did and telephoned me the next morning with a new appointment for 10 days later
