What I liked
The staff and treatment i recieved was very good.
The nurses were all friendly, and the occupational therapists were very good in helping with my physio post surgery.
What could be improved
Obviously the building is very old in parts and could do with being cleaned more.
My main complaint however is with the general admin. i lived 2 hours away and was a struggle to get in, but had approx 4 occassions where appt dates were incorrect and got sent away, or no letters sent to me at all and then being accused of not showing up!
i am allegedly on a waiting list for an op, and in almost 5 months have not had a letter to confirm this.
Anything else?
Being involved in a trauma case, a bit more consistancy would be beneficial.
The trauma team did not pass on my notes to the dressings/ot depts and therefore held up my treatment and in fact resulted in my notes being lost and not being allocated plastic/orthopedic specialists to advise me with post op.
