I was recently admitted to St George's for an emergency appendectomy (my appendix had actually ruptured by the time I arrived) and the response and treatment I received was first class. The A&E staff were thorough in the diagnosis and I was giving swift access to X rays and CT scans. I was operated on that same day by the consultant and his team who were excellent. Ten days on and the wounds are barely visible and causing me no discomfort. The nursing staff on Gray Ward were wonderful: kind, helpful, informative and professional. All in all I was blown away by the service and very grateful to have received it.
"faultless treatment"
