"Awful time for my wife, myself and most..."

About: William Harvey Hospital

We came to William Harvey yesterday, for my sons tonsils operation. Everything went fine until a lady doctor/anaesthetist came along to see my son. She had no manners and kept on referring to my son as over weight (this was all done in a open ward so everyone as able to hear). She also said that his blood pressure was high. But the nurse who took the reading that day said it was normal. She was so unfeeling that she made my wife cry and in the end we decided to cancel the operation. I think that there should be a procedure put in place so that parents and their child can go and talk in private. I am now going to make an appointment with our GP so that we can go forward, and not be made to fell that we are not good parents. The ward we visted is the Day Operation Ward on Sunday 150714 at 07.30am
