"Orthopaedic surgery 6 May 2014"

Very happy and thankful for the surgery and every aspect of my treatment. Bunion reduced - one of those operations mentioned on news bulletins as not urgent or interesting - but made a big difference to me. Thank you to the doctor and his team - I will never forget you all. Special mention to the man in Discharge who gave me painkillers to take home and said, when I asked about taking them "If you wait until it hurts before taking them, it is already too late". I had no pain whatever throughout the whole event. Would also like to say that anesthetics are so good these days - I am 65 and have not had surgery for several decades. Great experience all round. Thank you.
