"Good experience of ultrasound scan"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was provided with clear information about what to expect and where to go for the appointment.

When I got there I was dealt with courteously by reception staff. I was seen by the radiographer 5 minutes late. This was significant as I had to attend with a full bladder!

The radiographer was brilliant. He explained what he was doing and when I expressed an interest showed me my various organs on the screen. He reassured me that all was well as we went along.

The department was so busy with people coming and going it is nothing short of a miracle that people get dealt with as efficiently as this. Many thanks!
