I wanted to leave a comment for the MRI scan and CT scan dept just to say I have had to use your services recently and wanted to thank the staff for their professionalism and attention to care that I have received .As always its a busy dept but all were treated as individuals by the staff and should be congratulated .in particular one CT operative was excellent on my first visit ,my second visit was marred a little by the waiting area being like a cattle market as we waited for porters to return us to wards an excessive time and beds being lined up with vulnerable elderly people all alone ,this is a system fault however and not the staff

It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you thought the Staff who assisted you during your scan were professional and accorded you the care and treatment you expected from them. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the Department and the staff involved.

We are, however, disappointed that on your second visit, you came at a busy time and you had to wait in a very crowded waiting area. The turnaround times and the demand in that area are so great that the portering cannot keep up with the numbers of patients waiting to be returned to the wards. We are working with the portering management to address this situation.
