"Disgusting service"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital

A small child, (with mental health issues), was taken to hospital with severe bleeding from the head, was made to wait more than an hour in the waiting room during a working day. When approached reception to point out the heavy bleeding; "go to the toilet and use toilet paper"... "await your turn..." - complete lack of apathy and professionalism. When eventually seen by a doctor was informed that the 5 cm wound was too big and serious for them to handle. Told us to go home and go to another hospital in the morning to have stitches put in (17 hours after the injury). Wound wasn't cleaned, a small plaster applied and left as is. Worst service in the country.
