I was referred to the PNI unit at Stanmore after falling over and breaking my humerus. After an initial consultation with a neurosurgeon the decision was made to pin and plate my broken bone. My operation took place very quickly (3days after my initial consultation! ) and I cannot speak more highly of my Consultant or his wonderful team. Each and every person I encountered at Stanmore was kind, caring, professional and did everything they could to make a frightening experience much more easier to cope with. I stayed on Jackson Burrows ward and the nurses, HCA's and the lovely lady who made the best cup of tea in the world, were incredible. So often we hear of the poor care provided by the NHS but that is just not the case at Stanmore. I would recommend the services provided by this outstanding hospital to anyone and honestly cannot thank them enough for the first class care I received. Thankyou RNOH! ! !
