"ENT operation"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as the patient),

in short I had a polyp removed that was causing me a lot of problems for the past two years - the operation and case from the operating theatre staff was perfect, the operation was performed by Mr Murray. The aftercare in Ward 20 was really really bad. I must say that, when the late shift came in they were really attentive but the dayshift were not good, I was really left to look after myself, they were unattentive, offhand and rude.

Dear john o b,

Thank you for your posting, I had thought that I had replied already earlier this week, however I have been advised to repeat this process and I hope you are able to read this response.

I was both saddened and heartened to read your very kind and thoughtful feedback, both positive and negative.

We have already shared your feedback with the staff concerned, and in particular with Mr Murray.

I trust you have gone on to make an uneventful recovery.

Thanks again for taking the time and trouble to post your feedback, both good and bad are equally welcome.

Paul
