"Chemotherapy?"

Thank you for your query. We have contacted the sister fromthe Woodlands Unit at Shotley Bridge and she has given us some information we hope is helpful. Anyone attending for chemotherapy is invited for a pre chemotherapy talk , we ring the patient and invite them to come in and discuss where to attend, parking etc. At the talk which their relative is also able to attend , we show them round the chemo unit and introduce them to the staff . We give them a chemotherapy hand held record book with names of staff and contact telephone numbers they will require. However , I do feel we need to highlight Woodlands Unit in the general site information and will ask my manager how we should proceed with this and have also highlighted this with our Communications Team.
