"Excellent Surgery, Outcome & Treatment"

I attended the Hospital for planned surgery within Orthopaedics in July 2014. The outpatients appointment, radiology appointment and pre-assessment appointment prior to surgery were very prompt, timely andprofessional with all staff members treating me with lots of respect. I underwent surgery with the consultant and was admitted to the Pre Operative Care Unit on the day of surgery. The nurses on the ward made me feel at ease prior to surgery and were very friendly and warm. I attended the operated theatres at the time expected and was infromed at every stage as to what was happening to me, which was very reasuring. I had a nurse that stayed with me in the Anaesthetic room and held my hand at all times. The recovery staff post surgery were very attentative and friendly and I was transfered back to POCU once I was fully awake. I was visited by the Surgeon and dischaged.I was back home in my own comforts by 2pm and very comfortable. The staff are caring and very patient focus, nothing was too much for every staff member I came into contact with. Thank you Medway.
