"Appointment letter arrived after the appointment!"

I have been petrified waiting for the results of a thyroid biopsy; postman hands me the appointment envelope at 11am 7/7/14 I open it to find my appointment is for 10 am 7/7/14?! I contact ENT to be told the earliest next appointment is another two weeks 21/7/7! I called my GP who was compassionate and caring and shared my results with me immediately. My results are not good but I feel a whole lot less anxious knowing them.
