" Stressful time"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Paediatrics

(as a relative),

being told of the babys heart condition on first visit sent home with meds and left to wait for a bed to be free to come in for more test and meds,

told it would be next week that week has been and gone still no word, all you can do is leave messages on answer machines with no responses

this is stressful time to be left hanging not knowing the out come of your baby. why are thing not improved were we have the test sooner so my baby gets the meds needed and help in weight gain

Dear Woods,

We're really sorry that you haven't received the information you need, and that your messages are unanswered.

Please send your name, address and contact number (as well as your baby's name and DOB as they are the patient) to communications@uhl-tr.nhs.uk and we will look into this for you ASAP.

It would be useful to know which ward your baby was on during the first visit, and the consultants name if you know it.

Kind regards
