Having had my first treatment of Chemotherapy I was conscious of watching for any side effects due to treatment. 6 days after treatment I experienced difficulty breathing and was admitted to Crosshouse Hospital A and E for treatment, and eventually placed in Coronary care to monitor my heartbeat. The outcome was that I had a murmur at my heart which needed treated by medication to continue my course of Chemotherapy.
My comment and story is that during my admittance in July I was treated with first class respect and care by all the staff from the A and E right to the staff in Ward 4 F who looked after until I was discharged. I have nothing but true respect and admiration for the staff during my stay, hats off to everyone concerned, you are a credit to your profession.
"Hats off to everyone concerned."
