My mother has just been diagnosed with cancer. Her GP Dr Soinne at Wishaw health centre came to the house to tell her the news as she didn't want to tell her over the telephone. She has since visited my mother again today to see how she is. This has helped my mother come to terms with this easier having had this personal care from Dr Soinne I aware how busy GPs are and for her to take the time to visit my mother from her busy day means a lot.
My mother was recently also a patient for an overnight in ward 13 and had excellent care she said everyone was so nice and helpful from the nurses to the cleaners in the ward.
At the present time she is being overseen by Fran O Brien and the support she receives from her is excellent my mother knows she can call her at anytime and nothing is too much trouble.
As a family we think it is important to let the staff that have helped so far know how much we appreciate their care and support.
