"Day Surgery & Plastics Team"

Following a day case, local anaesthetic procedure I am writing to express my sincere thanks to all involved. From the receptionist (that booked me in), the nursing team (that admitted me), theatre team (that kindly held my hand, chatted and wiped my tears) and especially the surgeon, I was treated with the utmost respect and made to feel completely at ease. I experienced no waiting around (not even a chance to get my puzzle book out), everything was fully explained and even when the tears began to flow everyone went out of their way to reassure me. One week on, the wound looks amazing, I've experienced no pain and following a check up at my local surgery I have a glowing report (the surgeons handiwork has been greatly admired). So in summary, lovely day unit, lovely staff and a 'job well done'! Finally, I would ask that you pass on my grateful thanks to the surgeon and her team, if I have to visit Leicester again for further surgery I hope very much to be lucky enough to be on her theatre list.
