"I thought the wards were clean ..."

About: Alder Hey Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I thought the wards were clean and well managed , the children were able to play whilst they waited and they were made to feel comfortable,

What could be improved

I thought the ward k1 was very cold with regards the staff they did their best with what they had but it very much felt like a conveyor belt of young people, we also went to the cardio ward i thought the doctor was very good but very impatient considering my child is very young and nervous.

Anything else?

over all I think the hospital is great but some of the wards need to be looked at, their wasn't even a coffee machine in the parents waiting area, the ward was cold and most of the time the nurses seemed a little confused about what was going on. the children were left however to their own devices when it came to waking up but that was it then up and out, i have had things done as an out patient before and it felt as though because they are children they should put up with cold wards and being pushed up and out leaving them looking quite ill when they get home!.
